New Energy New York: Battery Week

I was recently commissioned to create an illustration for New Energy New York and their Battery Week event. The assignment was to highlight various items from our daily lives that make use of stored energy in the form of batteries. But how do you make these everyday items feel fun? I leaned into the color and the daisy chain of electric bolts holding them all together. And also, the Formula 1 car.
